Plan of settlement at Chalton (phase AZ)
The settlement project aims to reconstruct a 5-6th century Anglo-Saxon longhouse
and ancilliary buildings based on the settlement excavated at Chalton, Hampshire.
It will eventually include the house, a sunken featured building or grubenhaus
and a barn, together with an enclosed vegetable garden.
